Large Format Printer: For Outdoor Prints
By Andrew Kelly
Printing industry is not just limited to indoor office and home printing as we all know. Outdoor prints for various forms of advertising also count, and for this purpose, we simply can’t use common inkjet printers or even the larger ones used in business centers. Usually a special large format printer is needed, and such a printer is far different the ones we usually see in our daily life.
You can find such a large format printer usually in advertising companies where they print large banners, buntings, posters, and others. One of the largest makers of this type of printer is Canon, and they have a very large variety of it, which includes the Canon image PROGRAF IPF5000 large format printer. Another famous maker would be HP, with another large collection of this type of printers. One of the most famous under this maker would be the HP DesignJet 90r large format printer. Besides these, there are also other makes such Encad and others.
Super-Fine Quality Of Print
A typical large format printer can print up to the size of an A2 paper, or measured as 17 inches. Usually a large format printer can also be used as a desktop printer, since the flexibility options give you the best ‘large format’ quality printing even on your common documents and pictures.
A typical large format printer actually has two components inside to produce the beautiful prints. One is the typical, but enhanced inkjet nozzle. And the other would be the high-density twin print head, which is commonly found in many large format printers these days. Such a combination was only traditionally found in huge advertising printers, but they can be found in any large format printer regardless of the size and level.
A common large format printer is known for its accuracy and consistency in printing output, especially in color forms. Combined with a high speed controller, the output will usually be in your hands within matter of seconds. And the beauty never lacks no matter what.
The best part about such high quality large format printer is the durability of the printer. Having in mind that there are over 30 000 nozzles put into the twin print heads, the printer usually last up to more than 3 years without any mechanical error or servicing. The output will usually be very good due to the amount of droplets and the delicacy involved.
